The Overwatch tabasse dur mais il tabasse bien ! Cara Neir vaporise tout sur son passage en l'espace de dix minutes avec un grindcore au vitriol, avec un twist : Cara Neir bourre, mais de manière travaillée. Certaines paroles référencées (à Half-Life notamment) pleine d'humour, d'autres attaquant sauvagement le fascisme (comme il se doit) dans "Glorious Genocide", et surtout un grindcore très technique ("Combine Desecration", "Departure Point: Eta Carinae"). Cara Neir dans les règles de l'art !

Cela peut paraître difficile à croire mais Part II fonctionne de pair avec Part I ; les deux parties ont d'ailleurs été composées en parallèle. Malgré tout, Part II est un revirement complet et ce dès l'introduction "Beta Interval" : le black metal virulent est remplacé par un post-hardcore atmosphérique dans lequel même le chant finit par disparaître ("The Flowering Clay" et "Untouched"). Part II sert-il de phase de repos ? Ou sert-il à démontrer tous les talents de Cara Neir, comme sur un CV ?

Ce très court Split with Ramlord n'a beau ne contenir que la partie de Cara Neir — et autant le dire tout de suite : tous leurs splits sur Bandcamp sont comme ça —, il est ultra intense. Ce split donne envie de mettre en pratique cette doctrine chrétienne qui consiste à tendre l'autre joue après s'être pris une beigne (rassurez-vous : c'est bien la seule chose chrétienne que Cara Neir donne envie de faire). Post-black metal/crust acéré et changeant : Chris et Garry attaquent de tous les côtés !
